Holy moly 🤤 These decadent bars make for a delicious post-workout snack or a satisfying treat! They are packed with protein and a good amount of fibre to fuel your body. Store in fridge.
Ingredients
BASE
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 tbsp coconut oil
1/4 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup cacao powder
1/4 cup Choc Protein
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup shredded coconut
1 tbsp chia seeds
TOP
1 bloc 85% dark chocolate
2 tbsp coconut oil
Preparation
Step 1
Heat peanut butter, coconut oil, honey + vanilla in a saucepan on low heat.
Step 2
Remove from heat and stir in cacao powder and protein powder until smooth. Add in oats, chia seeds and coconut. Pour into lined loaf tin and set aside.
Step 3
Melt chocolate block and coconut oil in a saucepan until smooth. Pour over base layer. Put in freezer for a few hours to set.
Step 4
Cut into bars and store in airtight container in fridge.
