About the Recipe
This Healthy Chocolate Covered Banana recipe can be made by using dark chocolate, which is lower in sugar and higher in antioxidants compared to milk chocolate. To prepare the bananas, slice them into bite-sized pieces and place them on a sheet of parchment paper. Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or over a double boiler, stirring occasionally until smooth. Dip the banana pieces into the melted chocolate, coating them evenly, and then place them back on the parchment paper. You can also add some chopped nuts or shredded coconut as toppings, if desired. Allow the chocolate to harden by placing the bananas in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This healthy chocolate covered banana recipe is a delicious and satisfying treat that is perfect for a sweet tooth craving without the added sugar and calories.
