About the Recipe

These are the best tahini brownies I have ever eaten! They are sooo fudgy, sweet, easy & gluten free & paleo friendly! They taste like they should be SO unhealthy but are instead made with wholesome ingredients. These brownies are made with a combination of chocolate and tahini, which gives them a rich and nutty flavour. Tahini is a paste made from ground sesame seeds, and it adds a creamy and smooth texture to the brownies. Once you've mixed the ingredients together, pour the brownie mixture into a greased baking dish and bake it in the oven until it is cooked through and has a gooey center. Once the brownies are cool, cut them into squares and serve. They are a delicious and indulgent treat that is sure to satisfy your chocolate cravings.

Ingredients

Wet:

1 cup tahini

1/2 cup coconut sugar

1/4 cup pure maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 eggs

Dry:

1/3 cup cacao powder

1 tbsp almond meal

1 tsp baking soda

Pinch of salt

1/3 cup chocolate chips

For the chocolate drizzle:

2 squares 85% dark chocolate

1 tsp coconut oil

Preparation

1. Whisk wet ingredients in a bowl.

2. In a separate bowl, mix together dry ingredients (except choc chips).

3. Mix wet to dry.

4. Fold in choc chips.

5. Pour into lined loaf tin and bake for 20-28 mins on 180°C. DO NOT OVERBAKE! The knife should come out with a few crumbs still attached.

6. Allow brownies to cool, then prepare chocolate drizzle.

7. Melt your dark chocolate with the coconut oil then drizzle on top of brownie.

8. Allow to set, then cut up into squares & enjoy!
