About the Recipe
These choc coconut bounty balls are made from only 3 ingredients and couldn’t be more simple to make! The maple and coconut is blended together to create a thick, chewy centre, with an added toasted coconut flavour to create even more richness! Then the chocolate just tops it all off for a little crunch too.
Ingredients
2.5 cups desiccated coconut
6 tbsps maple syrup '
1/2 - 1 block dark choc
Preparation
Step 1
Place 2 cups of the desiccated coconut and the maple syrup into a food processor, and process until the mixture becomes a slight liquidy texture. This could take up to 8 minutes.
Step 2
Place a large plan over medium heat and add the rest of the coconut (1/2 cup). Cook for a few minutes until it is slightly golden. Add to the mixing bowl with the rest of the coconut mixture.
Step 3
Roll into balls and place into freezer.

In the mean time, melt the chocolate. Once balls have set, dip each one into the melted chocolate until completely covered.
